Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
Taken by Erin Bowman
As you read in my latest post, (if you haven’t read it, read it here), you read that I successfully completed my book buying ban! Hurrah! *happy dance* So, when I complete something, a goal, or something I do not want to do but have to, I like to reward myself afterwards. Usually with Chipotle. However, this time, I rewarded myself with NEW BOOKS! *super happy dance*
Book 1: Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
The only thing I know about this book is that it’s Sword Art Online in book form. WHAT?! SAO IN A BOOK? GIVE. ME. That was my initial reaction in hearing about this book. I am the biggest fan of SAO, like Kirito, I love you. So you can imagine how excited I was to hear about Ready Player One. BEYOND ECSTATIC! I don’t really want to know too much about this book, I really just want to jump right in and hope for the best!
Book 2: Taken by Erin Bowman
I hardly know anything about this book either, but here is why I bought it: 1. Erin Bowman is awesome. 2. The cover, because goodness gracious I love that cover. It’s so intriguing and totally caught my eye. It was one of those books you see and just have to have. So, naturally, I bought it. What I do know about this book is that once boys turn 18 they disappear. Disappearing boys? Going somewhere no one knows? Count. Me. In. I’m wondering if it’s going to be similar to the Gone series? Maybe not as gruesome, but close? Maybe not and I’m completely wrong. *shrugs shoulders* In conclusion, I am so very excited to read this book.
In fact, I am excited to read both these books (that’s why I bought them). Have you read them before? Did you enjoy them? Tell me your thoughts!
Until next time,
